Terms and conditions

AliExpress Reviews API (hereinafter, “the Service”) is a service provided by Oriol Martí Collell, a self-employed sole trader with NIF (Spanish tax ID) 45859350H and address at c/ Sant Valentí, 2, 4-2, 08221, Terrassa (Barcelona), España (hereinafter, “the Provider”). You can contact the Provider at oriolmarti2610@gmail.com.

These terms govern registration on aliexpress-reviews.com and the purchase and use of the Service. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you declare that you have read and accepted them.

The Service is a REST API that returns, in JSON format, the public reviews of AliExpress products, together with a ratings summary, applying the same filters that AliExpress offers.

• The data comes from AliExpress’s public pages. The Service is not affiliated with, sponsored by or approved by AliExpress or Alibaba Group. “AliExpress” is a trademark of its respective owners and is used only to describe the origin of the data.
• The Provider does not control the content, accuracy or availability of that data, which may change or become unavailable if AliExpress modifies its website.
• Responses may be cached for up to 24 hours.
• The Provider endeavours to keep the Service continuously available, but does not guarantee any specific level of availability (SLA) and may interrupt the Service for maintenance or for reasons beyond its control.

To use the Service you need an account, which you can create with your email and a password or with Google. You must be over 18 years of age and provide truthful information.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and your API key and for all use made with them. If you believe your API key has been compromised, rotate it from the dashboard and notify the Provider.

All prices include the applicable VAT. The features of each plan are those described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Daily quotas reset at 00:00 UTC.

The Provider may change the prices. Changes will not affect the period already paid and will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you may cancel before they take effect.

• Payment is made by card through Stripe. The Provider does not receive or store your card details.
• Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically each month until you cancel them.
• You can cancel at any time from the dashboard (“Manage billing”). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid and, from then on, your account moves to the Free plan.
• Except in cases of withdrawal (section 6) or those provided for by law, periods already started are not refunded.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it for a few days; if it still cannot be collected, the subscription will be cancelled and the account will move to the Free plan.
• You will receive the invoice for each charge by email.

If you purchase as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 calendar days of purchase, without having to give any reason.

By subscribing, you expressly request that the Service begin immediately, within the withdrawal period. If you withdraw, we will refund what you have paid, deducting the amount proportional to the service already provided up to the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal.

We will refund you within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receiving your notification, using the same payment method you used.

You agree to use the Service lawfully. In particular, you may not:

• Circumvent quotas or usage limits, for example by using several accounts or API keys.
• Share, assign or resell your API key or access to the Service to third parties.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service, overload it or attempt to access non-public parts of it.
• Use the data obtained for unlawful purposes, to impersonate third parties or to send unsolicited commercial communications.

Reviews are third-party content. You are solely responsible for the use you make of the data obtained and for complying with the regulations applicable to that use, including data protection (buyers’ names are masked by AliExpress), intellectual property and consumer protection (for example, not presenting reviews in a misleading way).

The Provider may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, giving prior notice where possible.

The Service, the website, its design and its code belong to the Provider. The subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use for its duration.

The content of the reviews belongs to their authors or to AliExpress; the Provider does not grant you any rights over it.

The Provider is responsible for providing the Service with due diligence, but does not guarantee that third-party data is accurate, complete or available, and is not liable for decisions you make based on it.

If you purchase as a business or professional, the Provider’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it, and the Provider is not liable for loss of profit or indirect damages.

Nothing above limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights that the law grants to consumers.

You may stop using the Service and request that your account be deleted at any time by writing to oriolmarti2610@gmail.com. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first.

The Provider may update these terms to adapt them to legal changes or changes to the Service. Changes that materially affect you will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not accept them, you may cancel before they take effect.

The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence. If you are a business or professional, the parties submit to the courts of the Provider’s place of residence.
